Chinese herbs are prescribed in formulas specifically designed for the patients needs. The herbalist will make a diagnosis and prescribe a traditional formula that corresponds to the patient’s pattern and disease diagnosis.
At the Ann Street Acupuncture Clinic we predominantly use patented pill formula herbs, designed to maximise efficiency and ease of use. We may prescribe granular herbs which are mixed with water and drunk, but we do not use raw herbs which require you to cook & prepare them at home.
